Solid Woodwork Ltd.  is a small family owned and operated woodworking shop specializing in custom solid woodwork.  We’ve been in Calgary for over thirty years and have participated in the creation of many fine establishments.  We also do custom CNC work including signs and other things not easily achievable by hand.  Our machine is also  capable of doing height based 3D as well as engravings on cylindrical objects such as posts.

Our company is very focused on reusing material when we can.  We’ve been lucky enough to get many recycled timbers from southern Alberta and most jobs we try to include material originally present, although this isn’t always possible.  Our shop is equipped with Solar Panels to capture the suns energy for heat.  This greatly offsets our heating demands.  When we added an addition on our shop we used hay bail construction to minimize our impact as well.
